Yvonne Varela is a Public Information Supervisor with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, where she leads one of the largest law enforcement social media programs in California, managing over 60 accounts across multiple platforms. With over 26 years of experience in law enforcement, Yvonne has been instrumental in shaping the department’s digital strategy and establishing brand standards. She currently manages all RSO social media, recruitment marketing, and digital outreach strategy. Yvonne holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communication and a bachelor’s in Graphic Design and Marketing. She is passionate about showcasing the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and the hard work and dedication of the faces behind the RSO badge.
